About Me

Hi! Let me introduce myself. . .

My name is Kimberly but I mostly go by Kim, Mrs. Walus, Mom or Grammi. I've been sewing now for 36 years and made my very first quilt when I was 18 years old. I learned to sew in Junior High when I took my first Home Economics Class. I was instantly smitten with the sewing bug. I couldn't get enough of it. My best friend and I loved to make clothes for ourselves and then we'd plan a photo shoot where we would go outside and find the perfect place to take pictures of each others outfits. It was so much fun and I have the best memories of that time of my life. I'll have to dig and find some of our old pictures.

I love and adore everything about the creative process and have my hands in many different areas of crafting. I love quilting, applique, constructing clothes, stamping, tole-painting, woodworking, flower arranging, jewelry making, soldering, paper crafting, card making, crocheting, and photography, just to name a few.

If my family is looking for me they know just where to find me. In my sewing & craft room.
