I Need Your Help. . .

I've been quite AMAZED and OVERWHELMED by your show of BLOGGY LOVE and your SUPPORT of my 100 post giveaway, but frankly, I'm surprised that it's been so successful. I was being optimistic when I thought, Oh, maybe I'll get 100 commments, I can handle that. . . I had no idea that this would take off this way.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

But,

I NEED your HELP and SYMPATHY on this one. . .

I'm soooo0 sorry but I'm going to have to END the giveaway a little bit early. I just can't keep up with all of you and I've read and read and read and visited 100's of blogs, and tallied over a 190 entries and I have over 160 more emails to go through and more arriving in my inbox as we speak.

So, I've decided to END the giveaway at "400 Comments" and then that will give me a couple of days to finish reading, tallying the comments, and preparing for the drawing on Sunday. So, if you know anyone that is dying to have their name thrown in the hat, please let them know to come by quickly and leave a comment.

I appreciate all of the new readers of my blog and I hope to be able to inspire and to share my love of all things creative. You truly have added so much to my life. Thanks again!

Keep Sewing and Creating!!

Look at you go with all your comments!

I'm sure everyone will understand on you ending early. I've found that I get most of my comments within the first day and a half anyway.

you are so good to go through all your comments!

PS You should pick me...I'm just throwing that out there! :)

You just didn't realise what a popular girl you are :o)

I would think any of us who have participate in a giveaway AND tried to comment to each and every person and/or visit their blogs (like you are trying to do), can relate to your situation and understand your decision to impose a cut-off. So...don't feel badly...it's your blog...it's your giveaway...and that's life. LOL Let's hope many of those folks stick around and read your blog as it's a good one. (I also had a fun time looking at posts on your family blog.) Keep up the nice work with your blogs!

You go girl! How wonderful to have so many visitors. This is a good lesson for us all - keep entry time frames short! It's a good idea to try to keep it manageable - after all we should rather be sewing than tallying! Still, you could just put everyone out of their misery and just pick me out of the hat!!
*hugs*

Kim,

So sorry you've been overwhelmed. I see it a lot w/ people who just want to win things. They don't regularly read blogs, but enter every 'free' contest.

Then, silly creatures, they tell all of THEIR friends on their blog, to go to your site .... thus lowering their chances to win. ;)

I generally only comment on the blogs I read daily (or check daily at least), but I thought I'd send a little sympathy your way.

Congratulations on sticking with your blog! 100 posts is something to be proud of. Keep it up!

Since entering the world of blogging, I find it's easy to let myself "wander" to blog after blog- and still never get bored. I'm always finding something new to get excited about.

I have always loved sewing - a passion I'll always have deep in my heart. The greatest joy is seeing a smile on someone's face when you give them something made from the heart.

Kim, I love your blog and now have it listed as one of the few I daily read. You're an unexpected blessing.

Keep blogging - your blog shows what a happy heart you have.

Kim, I'm happy to see that you've been getting so many replies to your wonderful blog, but I fully understand how overwhelming it can get to keep up with all of the posts.
I hope that people don't just come here for the give-away, but come back to enjoy all of you other posts.

I'm laughing slightly. Remember my daily give away! holy cow Now you know what I went through - it was overwhelming to say the least. It is fun that you had all the visitors though. Some will stick with you. Those are the keepers and the reason to have something fun like this.

WOW! I would say you have had an awesome give-away!

If I lived close, I could come and help you read all of those entries. I love give-aways, having them and signing up for them...I can relate to how you are feeling right about now.

Everyone ought to have a give-away at some time or other...Then they could feel the goosebumps run up their arms. :-)
