Oooh! Peppermint!

Oooh! Peppermint! It's only September and to my surprise I found my favorite ICE CREAM of ALL time at Walmart! I get excited when I find it in the freezer section before Christmas time. Personally, I think they ought to have it year round then I wouldn't feel like I need to stock pile it for the off seasons. I'm just kidding, I only bought two containers this time around.

Hey, has anyone noticed that Dreyer's Ice Cream containers are smaller and cost the same price or slightly higher in some stores?? I can't believe it! I wonder why they changed the container size. One can hardly afford to buy ice cream anymore. Maybe, that's a good thing!? Besides I hardly get a scoop when the kids are around anyway. Maybe, that's a good thing, too!!!

I noticed the same thing on all the ice cream containers the other day. Like they are all 1.5 or 1.75 quarts. I went to buy a bucket and it was 4 quarts instead of 5!

Yes, Kim, I noticed the different size and thought that was pretty rude of them. I refuse to buy it now, but I've been a faithful Dryers customer for years. Now, I go with Tillamook and Umpqua. They are both good and only cost $2.98. Hope you can get them down there...

Ooooh Yum! I've never had that flavor -- in fact I don't think we have Dreyers here??? I'll have to check -- it looks delicious!

Mmmmmmmmmmmm. That looks GOOD! Especially with the crushed Oreos. :D
I was thinking, hmmm, I wonder if she noticed the cartons are smaller now and then I kept reading :D I think that THEY think that we won't notice. Uhhhh, they should have cleared out all the OLD cartons before stocking with the news one as there is a VERY noticeable difference. Higher price, smaller package. Hmph :(
