As if I didn't have enough stress in my life . . . I'm just going to let you know that I'm pretty wiped out from an emergency visit to the Dentist today. I've been feeling a pain in my left jaw for several weeks now and kept putting it off and putting it off because of the wedding etc. etc. so when the pain kept getting more frequent I started worrying. My husband convinced me to call the dentist yesterday and they were able to fit me in at 7am this morning. I've needed a crown on two of my bottom molar teeth to replace the old fillings since my last visit 4 months ago.
Well, I ended up with the two crowns and another tooth with an existing crown that had an abscess and needed to be pulled. Yikes! The dentist put me totally out (anesthesia) so I didn't have to deal with all of the pain but I do have pain now from all the work he did. I'm fairly certain it will go away before the wedding. I certainly didn't want to be writhing in pain during the wedding with an abscessed tooth which could have been a strong possibility after what I found out and went through today. I'm definitely grateful that it wasn't worse. Now I just need an implant (instead of a bridge) that he will do a few months from now after it heals.

When I can't reach my kids to give them a hug, we do a "air hug". So here's one to you! I'm so sorry you had to have all that work done! I feel for you! I had 4 teeth pulled for braces when I was in my 30's and all four of them ended up with dry sockets. One of them for an entire month! I know how painful it is to have dental pain. I'm glad the worst is over!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the opportunity to win the goodies and congrats to those that did.
Well wishes for the wedding. I hope everything goes according to plan!
I hope you are feeling better!! Congratulations to the lucky winners!!
ReplyDeleteI'm sending lots of cyber hugs but I really think after going to the dentist, even to make an appointment one deserves a medal.

ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling lots better. Thats horrible. here's my virtual hug. thank you for the flower too. I really enjoy your blog.
ReplyDeleteElizabeth.
Bummer about your tooth! I have a dental appointment on Monday and I am not looking forward to it. It's like, "doc. give me the bad news" sort of feeling. But I'm glad you are pain free for the wedding. This way you can enjoy the cake!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to all your winners!
A cloud of hugs is heading your way courtesy to me and my daughter (who is the undisputed queen of hugs and cuddles)!
ReplyDeleteA very wise thing you did - going to your dentist instead of waiting for the pain to get even worse, particularly with the wedding pending. Get well and enjoy the celebrations!
Good luck to the young couple in their life together!
Oh my goodness, I feel your pain with the dental surgery. I had to have a tooth pulled for the same reason. I just got my implant and will have the new cap in a couple months. Don't stress out about the implant - it's really painless! Now I've got another tooth that needs a crown and a couple other things. I think I'm more upset about all the money paid to the dentist that could have gone on stash!!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are on the mend. Enjoy your wedding!! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about your tough go at the dentist! Very glad you went and had it taken care of! Now you an enjoy the wedding!!! Those winnings look so fun! Love that crochet clutch! Adorable!! Take care and Slow Down!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to all the winners!
ReplyDeleteHope your mouth heals up soon..sounds so painful!
Sending some (((HUGS))) and PRAYERS your way! hope the pain subsides quickly! Enjoy the wedding!
ReplyDeleteKimmie Kim Kim, I'm so sorry. This was the last thing you needed right now. I feel for you. Yikes. And paying for that will be painful too. We really did miss you over the weekend. I know you are doing what you need for your family. But know we love you and missed you. Hug hug hug.
