Crochet Along Success

Thanks Cassie for the time you invested in your wonderful Crocheted Pillowcase Tutorials. It was a great success and I'm loving my pillowcases. I'm just getting around to posting the results of my efforts. I have three pillowcases that are done and the other two are just about there.

I made two green pillowcases for my Kenna and I.

This fun floral print pillowcase I made for my grandaughter.

I made two of these pillowcases for the soon to be married couple.

Just 23 days and counting...

It's coming too fast...

I'm in worry mode at the moment.

  2. Those are really cute. I love the fabric and the fact that you added the crocheting around the edge makes them that much more special. I'm sure the newlyweds will love them!

  4. What a multitalented lady you are! I have a couple that were embroidered for our wedding but the crocheting was never done by anyone! They still sit after almost 28 years in my unfinished projects file. I should just sew lace on them and use them. Do I remember right that you have a daughter getting married? It's hard to see them grow up but oh so rewarding. I have a son and daugther who are both married. My daughter just gave us our second granddaughter (her second daughter) and they certainly make life a lot brighter! Good luck to you on getting through the next 23+ days and adjusting to the new normal. Hopefully you can take a couple of days after the wedding to regroup and re-energize yourself! Cindy

  15. The pillowcases turned out so nice! I have done the same with shirts and blankets. I have yet to venture into pillowcase embellishment. I may have to jump in and do it for my girls. I think hubby would give me strange looks if I edged the ones we use. I think he's adverse to frilly bedding.
