Under Construction

I totally messed up my blog . . . so it's under Re-Construction. Don't ask me how I did it because it would be too complicated to explain. Just know that I can't fix it to my liking so, I'm just going to start over.

It all started because I saw this tutorial and decided to make a major change. I'm liking the changes so far but, it's a lot of work because I lost a lot of my links and gadgets, etc. You can watch this tutorial but do it at your own risk. Please don't blame me. LOL!

I'm hoping it will all work out for the better. Wish me luck on this one, I may need it.

  1. Good luck! I'd love to change my blog, I've looked at many different options but I don't have the guts to press the save button.

  2. Good luck and no matter how it will look like, we'll follow your adventures and your wonderful creations. So... don't stress.
P.S.: I just opened a new blog (after closing my old one after 3 years). It's just like starting a new life.

  5. My "blog redesign" is totally due to a tutorial that "went wrong" too. I did a 3- column and decided to change it back. OOOPS there is NO UNDO in blogger. You have to save it manually (and you have to know how)before you change anything.

Good luck, I am sure it will be better than ever!

  8. Changing things is always exciting, whether it is by accident or design. Just tell everyone that it is exactly the way you planned it, nothing is accidental. Get those creative juices flowing and enjoy. I have often destroyed things before I have worked out how to fix it. I am the original computer technician's nightmare lol -

  22. Bummer, Kim! I hope it's not too hard to get you stuff back. I'm always scared to play with the html code, because I really don't know what I'm doing and I don't want to lose my blog. Good luck getting everything back. I really loved your background before.

  23. I used a template outside of blogger too, and not only did I lose my gadgets (at least they were easily re-done) I also lost the ability for people to leave comments! *eep!*

It took me two or three days to get comments back but I finally figured it out. *phew!* And I love my new layout. :)

    Good luck with yours!

  24. Good luck getting it fixed! I'm always changing the layout of mine, and I've decided that I like the 'Plane Jane' look the best. Simple and easy. I do love your header though. The fabric always makes me want to go sew.

  29. I have been so leary about changing things on my blog, mostly because I am so computer challenged. Hope you can get it all worked out!
