What a trip down memory lane. I remember Pink and Blue. My husband even wanted to paint the livingroom pink. After one coat I hated it and we had to cover it up with gray. (At least I think I still have them -- I don't remember a purging.) This is hysterical -- I used to pour over those books and plan things to make. I wonder if you hadn't said anything and I were to look at those books, if I would have paid attention to the author's name and made the connection?

I learned how to tole paint in Provo when I was a freshman at the Y. I took a class in "town" from Annie Somebody (Richardson maybe? she had a shop and books titled Tole Red, Tole Blue, etc.) I loved it. Isn't it funny though, looking back, how ugly some of that stuff is? I still have a lot of the pink and blue -- need to get rid of it!

I knew I KNEW you!!!Thimbleannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03650582809426872051noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7257335425935550178.post-70905767267503484862009-04-29T04:12:00.000-06:002009-04-29T04:12:00.000-06:00This is just too too wonderful!!
